ASUS ARENA SCII: BASIC INFORMATION

The qualifiers are done and invitations send out. The ASUS ARENA will kick off this Friday and our StarCraft II tournament with it. Here is a brief summary of all the important information for the participating players.

Tournament system

There will be 20 players divided into 4 groups. The players will face off in Bo3 matches in a round-robin group stage. The top 3 players of each group will advance to the play-off. The winner the of the group will be directly seeded in the quarter-finals(Ro8) whereas the second and third player will be seeded in the round of 12.

4 groups (Bo3) by 5 players, top 3 players will advance
A winner of a group advances directly to Ro8, second and third player to Ro12
Ro12 and Ro8 will be played out in Bo3 matches, semi-finals and finals Bo5 matches
Maplist: Akilon Wastes, Belshir Vestige, Derelict Watcher, Frost, Polar Night, Yeonsu, Whirlwind
All the players are required to bring their own accessories (keyboard, mouse, mouse pad and headphones – earplugs only!)

The players are required to arrive to the entrance 4 of the venue latest by 10:20 CET. The admin Pospi will come and take you inside building. If you are planning to arrive earlier, please contact the admin via email.
